This marks our 100th post here on I Can Grow People. Rather exciting, huh? I have been trying to figure out what to cover in this special post, so I have decided to share with you something that I discovered months ago–thanks to E!’s The Soup:
Oh yes, my friends–you read that web address correctly. Now, I haven’t seen the documentary–only the website–but I find the whole idea…confusing. The documentary is offered on NetFlix, but I don’t know if I am brave enough to watch it. You all think about this for a bit and let me know if you would watch such a documentary.
Secondly, Aaron and I are attending our first childbirth class tonight! I have my pillows and blanket in the car and we are ready to go! I am a little nervous because I don’t really know what to expect. This is the first of our five classes. I will let you know how it all turns out!

You should def watch that movie and let us know how it is!
Congrats on your 100th post!
i have heard of that orgasmic birth stuff, and i call shenanigans.
just too curious……I want to know……rent it for sure. If it gets weird or creepy turn it off. But, please, tell us what it is about…..
I’m glad to see someone else posting about the birth orgasm. It was mentioned on an episode of Californication and then I saw it on The Soup.
I’m going to get up the courage to ask about it in my wife and I’s birthing class.
I had not heard of this movie, but after a little googling, it seems to appeal to the same crowd who loved “The Business of Being Born” which I think is a must see for all pregnant women. (It’s available off Netfix, as is Orgasmic Birth) The concept does sound a little wacky, but I’m guessing the message is good – one of empowerment and the natural-ness of the birthing process.
Happy 100th Post!
