On October 8, 2006 something was funny.

Aaron and Lori* met in Maine, started dating in Connecticut, got married in New York and now live in Florida.  Together for six years and married for three, they just welcomed their son and first child into the world on April 15, 2009–a good 5 weeks before their little one was expected to arrive!  Now Aaron, Lori and their son Porter are enjoying life as a family!

*Aaron and Lori are not real pirates.

Orginally this blog was started to keep our friends and family updated about our pregnancy, but it has grown into something much more than that.  This blog helped me deal with all of the ups and downs of pregnancy and now it is helping me to cope with the challenges of parenthood.  Not only that, but this blog has helped me connect to other parents just like me who are trying to figure this all out.
